Headbanger's Karaoke Club Dangerous Fire

The moment I've been waiting for is finally here. The debut E.P. from Hayaino Daisuki has finally shipped and made it's way into my eager ears. With four songs clocking in at just over 14 minutes, this is thrash for listeners that just can't have everything fast enough. The english translation of their name should be a dead enough giveaway of what you're in for: I Love Speed.Fronted by Jon Chang, the mastermind behind grindcore gods Discordance Axis, this E.P. sounds like a love letter to all things fast and twitchy. Backed by Takafumi Matsubara (Mortalized) and drummer Eric Schnee (The Binding), not only are their songs played at blistering speed, but they're catchy as hell. The interplay between Matsubara's guitar parts is stunning. Then there's the furied drums that don't relent for a single measure and finally, you've got Chang's trademark high pitched screaming. You listen to this record once, and you'll probably play it again right away.

That doesn't even begin to get into the packaging of the record - it's above and beyond the call of duty, fitting for music that's equally extreme. Make no qualms about it. This record is essential. buy it now.
